Coach at SwimBox

Teach movement. Build skill. Work with adults.

SwimBox is a private swim training studio in Arlington, VA that uses Endless Pools to teach adults and endurance athletes how to swim with better posture, control, and confidence. We’re not a learn-to-swim factory. We’re not a noisy deck with whistles and lane battles. And we’re not looking for lap counters.

This role is probably for you if…

  • You love swimming or movement, but hate chaotic pool environments
  • You enjoy coaching adults and explaining why things work
  • You care about posture, breathing, rhythm, and control
  • You want predictable hours and a clean, professional space
  • You’d rather teach one person well than manage 20 at once

What makes SwimBox different

We use Endless Pools — not lanes.
  • No lane sharing
  • No cold decks
  • No yelling over noise
  • No managing groups of kids

Sessions are focused, controlled, and calm. You coach movement, not chaos.

Our clients are mostly adults: adult-onset swimmers, triathletes, fitness-focused adults, and rehab-adjacent clients. They’re motivated, attentive, and invested in learning.
